The John Crane Mechanical Seal Type 10R and 10T are two different types of Mechanical Seals manufactured by John Crane, a global leader in rotating equipment solutions.The Type 10R is a single, balanced seal designed for general-purpose applications. It features a non-pusher elastomer bellows design, which allows for high performance and reliability in various operating conditions. This seal is commonly used in pumps, mixers, and other rotating equipment.

On the other hand, the Type 10T is a dual, balanced mechanical seal that provides extra protection against leakage. It features a non-pusher elastomer bellows design on the inboard seal and a flexible graphite primary ring on the outboard seal. This dual seal arrangement helps to prevent process fluid from leaking into the atmosphere, making it suitable for applications with hazardous or environmentally sensitive fluids.Both the Type 10R and 10T mechanical seals are known for their durability, reliability, and ease of installation. They are designed to withstand high temperatures, pressures, John Crane Cartridge Seal and shaft speeds, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
